I really like the scent and the way it rinses clean. The wash lasts the month and then some. However the deodorant only gets me about 20 days, and that's if I use so little that I'm stinky by 3/4's way into my day. I unfortunately came on here to end my sub, it is a great product it just doesn't last for me with the deodorant

If you’re new to natural deodorant, your body may go through a detox phase as it adjusts to being free of synthetic chemicals and aluminum. This might mean sweating more or experiencing odor as your body rebalances. Don’t worry this is completely normal and usually lasts 2-4 weeks.
I love this brand and their products. I am particular to the bar soap and deodorant combo. I have used their hand gunk and styling beard balm as well. Everything smells great and have all natural ingredients. I’ve tried a few different company products claiming to be natural and their ingredients were full of chemicals I couldn’t pronounce and the smells were pungent.

I am a newbie when it comes to having a good beard; I've been growing it for about a year now. I have tried countless different beard care products, and they all had the same issues. Dry, itchy skin; a dry, coarse beard that never felt clean and soft. I have spent hundreds on different products from several different companies over the past year. Once I found Mountaineer, I was very interested due to the ingredients, so I gave them a try. Let me just say, after the first few times of using beard wash and conditioner, the dry, itchy skin was gone. I then started using the beard oil and balm, and wow. These products are great, and it's a local company, so that's a bonus too.

I came acc ross this company through a Facebook ad, which I am unsure how I got, but decided to look at their page. I ended up buying a couple of items (Beard Wash, Beard Conditioner, and Deodorant) that were unscented because my wife is sensitive to perfumed scents. Not to mention they said they were a West Virginia company which meant local company. As for the unscented items, this was mostly true. The Beard Wash and Deodorant were unscented, but the Conditioner was clearly scented. If I had to guess on what, I would say close to a sandalwood or something woody. Luckly it was not too strong to set my wife in to a coughing fit but the fact that it was scented is an issue. That is one of the reasons for the 4-star rating. The other is that when I got the shipping info with tracking number, seems that it was not shipped locally but from out of state. The company headquarters may be here, but the product is not. Anyway, that is my opinion.

Our porducts are both made and sent out from Maritnsburg West Virginia. The tracking shows the pacakge going out of state to Pennsylvania because that is where our local post office's sorting center and distribution center is.

This is one of the best natural deodorants out there! The Smokey Bourbon is by far my favorite smell. I tried all the smells they have and some of them don't last all day. Smokey Bourbon is the only one that lasts all day for me. It can stain your shirts if you apply a lot though. Overall, it's a very good natural product!

I’d give it a 4.9 only because it’s very difficult to clean off. There always seems to be a residue. The smells are great and it seems to keep me smelling great as well.

For the reasons I gave the company to cancel my subscription - the product has the consistency of a toddler’s mucus, and it attracts ants. My wife and I had ants all in the shower after I used the product - all over the bottle, trying to get in and I can only presume consume the product. So it’s natural - and I guess full of sugar (???).
Anyway, we never had ants in the shower before and since removing the product, they’re all gone.
The bit about mucus - it triggers my gag reflex and this has the appearance and consistency of snot. Yay…
Customer service reached out to me asking that I rewrite my review and I guess with my permission, they deleted my other review and then failed to issue a refund or cancel my subscription. Never trust the company to do what I should be doing on my own. That said, I’ll give them 2 stars for the perfectly adequate customer service and empty promises to cancel my subscription and not issue the refund promised.
I've had a beard my entire adult life minus my time in the military. I've tried several other beard products but Mountaineer Brand is absolutely the best I've ever had. From easy shopping, fast delivery to a perfect product. Thank you!

Product packaging is subpar at best. For the money I spent I was definitely expecting much better. The scent is something like a toilet bowl cleaner. The beard balm mustache stick and styling stick all seem to be the same thing just different cheap cardboard tubes with different labels. I have a nicer set that I bought on Amazon for 15 dollars. I have to say this is the biggest waste of my money. When I spend over 60 dollars on beard products I wanna feel like I bought something quality not dollar store products at high end prices.
